Introduction

The Kombat SAS Attack II is a diamond-shaped power racket for advanced players who want heavy smashes.

Shape & Balance

The diamond shape does two things: it raises the balance point toward the head and increases swing weight. That gives you more momentum on smashes. It also means the racket feels head-heavy.

You'll notice it on slow swings. It wants to lag behind your hand, so you need to commit early. Not a racket for lazy wrist work.

Grip

The standard grip size is comfortable, and the handle gives a secure feel. No surprises here.

Over a long match, the head-heavy balance will tire your arm more than a balanced racket. You'll need good conditioning to keep your shots consistent in the third set.

Power & Control

Power is solid at 7.6, which is decent but not extreme. The real power comes from your swing speed combined with the racket's mass. You won't get free power on off-center hits.

Control at 7.4 means you can place shots if you hit cleanly, but you trade a bit of precision for that power. It's a fair deal for attackers who hit the center often.

Comfort & Speed

The medium-soft feel and EVA core absorb vibration, so it's not harsh on the arm. But the head-heaviness adds stress at the elbow over time. No real vibration issue, though.

Maneuverability is 8, so it's faster than you'd expect from a diamond. Still, in quick net play, it lags a bit. You'll win on power, not speed.

Materials & Durability

The frame is 100% carbon, which is standard for durability and stiffness. The faces are Rough Alutex, a textured surface that helps spin. That's a plus if you like slicing or kicking shots.

The EVA core softens impact and adds a bit of touch, but it's not a soft racket. Overall, these materials should withstand normal play without issues.

Analysis

The Attack II is a serious weapon. Its diamond shape puts weight in the head, so it swings heavy. You need good technique and fast arm speed to use it well. Players with clean hits will find real power, especially on overheads.

Rebound is the standout stat at 8.3. The ball leaves the face quickly, which helps on defensive shots when you're stretched. That same rebound makes touch play trickier, though. You have to soften your hand for drop shots.

Control sits at 7.4, which is acceptable for a power racket. You'll feel the response is less forgiving on off-center hits. The sweet spot is smallish (7.3), so precision matters. Miss the middle and you lose both power and direction.

Maneuverability is decent at 8, but that's relative. It's not a slow racket, but it's not whippy either. In fast volley exchanges, it can feel a bit heavy. This is a racket for players who like to dominate, not react.
